Do you know that feeling when you’ve been looking forward to something for a long time and all of the sudden it’s there?
The long dark days are over and we’re in the middle of Spring. Living at place where the daylight is limited for many months during Autumn and Winter, the arrival of Spring brings new hope and energy.
There’s so much to take in when you get the chance to spend time outside this time of year. The colours in nature, the emerging leaves and flowers, the sky, the wind and the sun.
As you may recall, our Spring and Summer last year didn’t go as well as we could have hoped for. My hubby was sick for many months and our focus was less on enjoying the garden and beach time and more on getting him well.
Fortunately, the family situation this year is much better and we are currently working on updating our terrasse and garden for nice and cosy moments with family and friends.
Can’t wait to share more about the improvements with you in a couple of weeks time. Fingers crossed that we’ll get a lot of sunshine beginning of June when our oldest son graduates from high school as we’ve planned a get together at home to celebrate!
