Oh yes. We all need our beauty sleep. Admitted, some need it more than others.
Sleep is key to a healthy life style but many of us suffer from sleeping problems, or we simply do not priortize a good night's sleep due to busy schedules and must do's.

If you feel low and less energetic it could relate to your sleeping habits. Sleep may reduce your risk for depression, as it impacts various chemicals in your body such as serotonin. When you have aserotonin deficiency, you are more likely to suffer from depression. It's worth considering getting rest, when you experience difficult times in your life.
When I don't get my sleep for longer periods of time I tend to get annoyed, sad or angry easily. I have learned it the hard way with 4 kids in my life. I now know that it's alright to go to bed early every now and then, when the days have been fully booked with work and loads of things to do.
Getting rest and sleep regularly is one of the best gifts and investments you can give yourself and your loved ones.
